Eustace: Для знающих английский - интервью с создателями фильма, есть любопытные моменты...) Q: Who is directing this film and when will it be released? A: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is being directed by Michael Apted and will feature Georgie Henley (Lucy), Skandar Keynes (Edmund), and Ben Barnes (Caspian). The film was originally set to be released in May 2009, but the release date has since been pushed back to May 7, 2010. The film is scheduled to start shooting November 2008. Q: Where will 'Dawn Treader' be filmed? A: Originally the production team was going to film in Malta, Iceland, and Prague, but after the release date and schedule setback, they began scouting for new locations. After receiving reports that both Australia and New Zealand were scouted, we've learned that the production seems to have settled on filming in the Baja Studios water tank in Rosarito, Mexico for most of the production, with a few scenes shot in New Zealand. Here is the official website for the Baja Studios. Q: I want to audition for the film. Can I get casting information? A: Casting has been underway for the part of Eustace Scrubb for some time now; however, in a recent report we learned that they have narrowed it down to ten actors. Two good sites to watch for casting announcements are Stars In My Eyes and My Entertainment World. And of course we will post anything that comes up on our front-page news. If you are serious about getting a part in a Narnia film or acting in general, our best advice to you is to make sure that you have a good agent. Q: Why isn’t Andrew Adamson directing this film? A: Andrew Adamson will not be directing this film because of other commitments. In an interview, Douglas Gresham said, "Andrew's not going to direct the next one; I think he's realised that it's time he took a break. I think probably he has devoted so much time to us, we would be very remiss to ask him to do it again. I don't think his wife would be very pleased if he had to take off for another two years to make a movie in the far parts of the world and so on. But in any case I think it'll probably be good for Andrew and very good for us to change a little bit of style here and there." Q: Will the same actors and producers be back? A: Georgie, Skandar, and Ben have all signed on, and Liam Neeson (Aslan) and Eddie Izzard (Reepicheep) are sure to reprise their roles as well. As far as Will and Anna are concerned, neither will be returning. Anna has stated in an interview that she will not be appearing in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, even for a cameo, and Mark Johnson has mentioned too that Will and Anna will not be back. For the production team, there will be many familiar faces: Richard Taylor with Weta Workshop, Howard Berger with KNB EFX, and Isis Mussenden (costume designer). But along with director Michael Apted, there will be a few new faces as well, such as David Arnold (composer), Nina Gold (casting director), and Jim Rygiel (special effects supervisor). Cary Granat of Walden Media has mentioned twice that they're considering The Magician's Nephew next instead of The Horse and His Boy, probably to give the Pevensie actors time to age a bit more before filming.
